Wiltshire Treehouse is a small independent charity that receives no government support.
To run our free services throughout Swindon & Wiltshire we must raise over £100,000 every year.
Therefore, the future of those we support depends on your generosity.
Bereavement touches us all regardless of colour, creed, gender or age. For some of us that loss is hard to recover from. Help us make the grieving journey easier and prevent some of the problems that can affect people later in life.
In the UK alone, a parent of a child dies every 22 minutes; that’s around 23,600 deaths a year and equates to around 111 children bereaved of a parent every day.
- 5% of children will have experienced the death of a parent or sibling before age 16.
- 92% of children will lose someone important to them.
- At any one time, around 70% of schools have a bereaved pupil in their care. (CBUK, 2016)
