Wiltshire Treehouse Privacy Notice
Wiltshire Treehouse needs your consent to collect personal data about you and your child(ren) in order to work with you.
In this Privacy Notice we explain what personal data we collect and why, how we process it, and your rights. Your data is important to us and we want you to know that it is handled safely and securely and in line with the Data Protection act 2018.
Who are we?
Wiltshire Treehouse is a registered charity which delivers bereavement support to children, young people and their families. We are contactable using the details at the bottom of this page.
What information do we collect and why?
In order to provide an effective and safe service we need to collect information from you including (but not limited to) names, addresses, dates of birth, school details, contact details and the reason(s) why you are working with us. We will also keep records of our contact with you.
With your consent we will use this information to process your referral, agree on a support plan and work with you and your child(ren) on it.
We may use your anonymised data for fundraising, training and promotion purposes.
How we manage your data
We will always store your confidential data appropriately and securely.
We will only share your information with a third party if we have your consent. If we deem that you or another person is at risk of harm we are legally able to share your information without your consent, although we will always try to speak to you first.
At the end of our work with you we will keep your data for 12months, for the purpose of follow up support (if required). We will then securely destroy it, unless you tell us otherwise.
In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we will also share your name(s) and contact details with the Track and Trace team as required to do so.
Your rights
You have the right to see the data we hold at any time.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
